Help customers reduce their overall costs:
- Higher deductibles: Offer higher deductibles, especially on Physical Damage coverage, to help lower premium.
- Snapshot: Offer Snapshot to both new and existing business to help customers save with a more personalized rate; our Participation Discount can help offset rate increases.
- Discounts: Offer all available discounts. Review customers’ current situations to ensure they’re not missing out on any. For example, many customers are more comfortable with digital payment methods, and enrolling them in recurring credit card or EFT payment plans can help them save. In addition, let your customers know they can save even more if they own a home or have multiple Progressive policies.
Help manage loss costs for your agency and customers
- Disclose all household members of driving age and regular vehicle operators.
- Ensure the named insured signs and dates all application documents.
- Maintain all policy documents for the lifetime of the policy, plus seven years.
- If customers choose to sign documents electronically at new business, be sure to check your ForAgentsOnly.com (FAO) Follow-up Manager and contact customers who have not yet submitted the required forms. You are required to ensure forms are signed when selecting the electronic signature option.
Dates to know All new quotes created on or after December 5, 2025, will receive our newest rates. During the period from December 5, 2025 through December 14, 2025, any new business quotes saved prior to December 5, 2025, with an effective date prior to December 15, 2025, may be sold as quoted in the prior revision or updated to our newest rates. Renewal offers with effective dates on or after January 9, 2026 will receive our newest rates.
